He was born in the so-called Monte Velho, the home of the Tecla family in Herdade Grande, into a family strongly linked to farming and Vidigueira. Founder of what is one of the first wine projects in Baixo Alentejo, storyteller and bearer of a delicious sense of humour, which he always accompanies with a subtle smile, António Tecla is the personification of the passion for Alentejo, celebrated in the heart of Herdade Grande and passed between generations.
