Over the years, Bacalhôa, one of the largest and most innovative wine companies in Portugal, has developed a wide range of wines that have earned it a solid reputation and the preference of national and international consumers.
Present in 7 Portuguese wine regions
With a total of 1,200 hectares of vineyards, 40 different grape varieties and 4 wine centres (cellars), the company stands out in the market for its size and 70% autonomy in its own production. Each of the entities that make up the Bacalhôa Group - Bacalhôa Vinhos de Portugal, Aliança Vinhos de Portugal and Quinta do Carmo - corresponds to a production centre with its own characteristics and a heritage with intrinsic cultural value.
Bacalhôa has wineries in the most important regions of Portugal: Alentejo, Setúbal Peninsula, Bairrada, Beiras, Dão and Douro. The project implemented in the various farms under the theme “Art, Wine and Passion” aims to exceed the most demanding expectations.
