With its Castle dating back to the 1st century AD, Monte Vibiano stands on the crest of a hill, surrounded by olive trees, vineyards, centuries-old woods and waterways. It is difficult to find a more Umbrian Umbria than this, but above all an area of greater purity, scenic beauty and natural value.
Monte Vibiano has ancient roots but also a contemporary vision and sensitivity. The Fasola Bologna family, who settled in the area in 1,087, owns the castle and the 350 hectares surrounding it. It was its members, immediately dedicated to agriculture, who designed a company with a thousand faces, all based on the values of sustainability, the environment and the best possible quality. Suffice it to say that less than 40% of the surface is cultivated, while the rest is wild and uncontaminated, to protect biodiversity.
In addition to the olive tree, the area has known the cultivation of vines and the production of wine since time immemorial. Even though there are not many realities that have valorized this area (but things are changing thanks to some small realities in the area), there is no doubt that for soils and microclimate it is one of the most suitable terroirs in the region.
