Since 1936, when grandfather André Charbaut planted his first vines on the privileged slopes of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, the Charbaut family has been committed with determination to preserving the family essence and the uniqueness of its products.
As winegrowers from father to son for three generations, and now from father to daughter for the 4th generation. They have maintained the prestige of their brand as well as the quality of their production over time, taking advantage of vineyards ranked among the best.
Today, it is Xavier, the grandson, who manages the operation covering nearly 14 hectares. Accompanied by his wife Nathalie, they devote all their energy to the management of their estate. Driven by an unwavering passion, this couple of winegrowers are constantly looking for new ideas to perpetuate the history and excellence of Guy Charbaut champagne.
