Quinta da Pacheca

In 2012, our path led us to the historic Quinta da Pacheca, in the heart of the Douro Valley. With over three centuries of winemaking tradition, it was a true meeting of destinies: our passion found a home, and the property began a new chapter.
Among vineyards, granite lagares (wine presses), and oak barrels, we discovered more than just a wine estate—we found a legacy waiting to be revived. For us, this was not just an entry into the world of winemaking; it was a commitment to honoring a place where history, terroir, and the human spirit intersect.

With the success of Quinta da Pacheca and a growing passion for wine, wine tourism, and regional identity, the Terras & Terroir group was born—a project rooted in the conviction that each region has a story to tell through its soils, its grapes, and its traditions. Driven by passion and guided by the values of excellence, authenticity, and sustainability, the group expanded beyond the Douro Valley, embracing the richness and diversity of Portugal's wine regions.

In January 2025, the group adopted a new identity: Pacheca Group, a natural evolution that reflects the strength and recognition of its most iconic brand, Quinta da Pacheca — the place where it all began.
