It has the history of a Minho farming house where its people dedicated themselves to agriculture, livestock, vineyards and wine. As landmarks of these activities, the granary, the wine press, the still and numerous agricultural tools remain to this day. The decoration and furniture respect environments from other times, now adapted for a games room and bar, where it is still possible to see a stone press, once used to make wine.
In this traditional environment there is now a modern wine cellar where our Terras de Amares Wines are produced, coming from indigenous grape varieties from the Vinho Verde Region, between the Cávado River and Rio Homem.
Currently, it is José Carlos Costa and his daughter Margarida who give life to this family business, created with the recovery of the property, which in the past belonged to his uncles, the Pereira Lata Family, to whom they also want to pay homage and dedicate this project.
