The Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari Tenute was born in 2000 to continue the family winemaking tradition, which dates back to the end of the 18th century, under the banner of renewed excellence. Today the company is led by Giovanni Folonari and, with its five Estates, encloses and expresses the best of the Tuscan DOCs between tradition and innovation: the Nozzole Estate in the Chianti Classico, Le Tenute del Cabreo, in the Greve in Chianti area , where the Supertuscans are produced; and again the Tenuta La Fuga in Montalcino, Campo al Mare in Bolgheri, Vigne in Porrona in the Tuscan Maremma. Expression of the best Tuscan terroirs, the Estates have a total extension of 250 hectares and a total of about 1 million bottles produced each year. Sangiovese in purity is the absolute protagonist and with the line of Chianti Classico from the Tenuta di Nozzole, Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari Tenute he elects himself as the authentic "ambassador" of this vine in Tuscany.
