This beautiful property was purchased in 1934 by Fernand Gasparoux. Since then, it has been passed down from generation to generation, with today three generations working together!

The Gasparoux family is proud of its origins and its heritage, and is committed to opening the doors of the Château to tourists, and sharing its passion for wine.

Since 2019, a new tasting room has been built, to best accommodate all those wishing to discover the place.

Come and visit Château Ferrand , accompanied by the property's sommelier, discover the secrets of this Grand Cru Classé during a tasting visit, a lunch or dinner at the Private Table, a professional event or a night in one of the rooms of the castle. Perched on the heights of the Saint-Emilion appellation , this historic and family property is located in the heart of a real green setting: 42 hectares surround the 18th century building, including 10 hectares of woods, park and meadows.

Château Ferrand wines

Each plot is worked differently according to its potential and its individual characteristics (soil, grape variety, year of planting...), and no herbicide has been used on the estate for more than a generation, which is worth to the property of be Terra Vitis certified. In 2012, the Château de Ferrand was distinguished by the INAO Classification Commission, which recognized it as a Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion.

The castle offers you a dream night in one of the 3 prestigious rooms, quiet with a view of nature. You can spend a moment of relaxation on the terrace, in the lounge or at the bar, in a friendly atmosphere "like at home". The castle also offers you a gourmet experience at its table d'hôte where the private chef creates a menu based on seasonal products (only available in the "Sleeping at the Castle" offer).
